PROJECT SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION:

• Key Objectives – Design a convenience store with gas pumps at a newly developed intersection.
• Challenges – Meet the developer’s demanded schedule for closing on the property. All permits had to be in hand before closing.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

• Engineering Services Provided – Civil design, transportation planning, permitting with Wakulla County, NWFWMD and FDOT.
• Collaboration – Major development at a new signalized intersection of Crawfordville Highway and Song Bird Avenue.

UNIQUE FACTORS FOR THE PROJECT:

• Special Designs – Interconnections were key to the design as this development was on a hard corner and needed to provide interconnections for future commercial development Size/Scale – 5,000SF Convenience store with 14 pumps.

OUTCOMES AND IMPACT:

• Impact on Community/Client – New business and convenience store opportunities for citizens of Wakulla County at a newly signalized and popular intersection.
