PROJECT SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION:

  • Key Objectives – One of eight Dollar General stores UC2 developed for Teramore Development.
  • Challenges – The project site required rezoning from OR-2 to L-2 General Commercial to make the site work.
  • Solutions Provided – Work with City Planning to rezone property and combine two parcels into one.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

  • Engineering Services Provided – Civil design, paving, grading, utilities, stormwater design as well as permitting with City of Tallahassee, FDOT, NWFWMD.
  • Collaboration – City Planning Department

UNIQUE FACTORS FOR THE PROJECT:

  • Environmental Considerations – Campbell Pond Closed Basin required volume-specific design and recovery within 90 hours.
  • Size/Scale – Project Site. 10,640 SF retail store with associated infrastructure.

  • Impact on Community/Client – Redevelopment of an existing developed site.
