Patients First Crawfordville

PROJECT SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION:

• Key Objectives – First out parcel development in the new Publix Shopping Center in Crawfordville.
• Challenges – Working with Publix in obtaining approval for the new medical office.
• Solutions Provided – Connect to the existing shopping center layout and provide on-site stormwater.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

• Engineering Services Provided – Civil design including paving, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater permitting through Wakulla County, FDEP, and NWFWMD.
• Collaboration – Worked with Publix representatives during the design

UNIQUE FACTORS FOR THE PROJECT:

• Special Designs – The design required an individual grinder pump station to be connected to the forcemain within Crawfordville Highway.
• Size/Scale – 4,000 SF medical clinic

OUTCOMES AND IMPACT:

• Impact on Community/Client – This provides for a new walk-in clinic in Crawfordville, which does not have a hospital.
