PROJECT SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION:

• Key Objectives – Design a car wash on an irregularly shaped parcel at the Southeast intersection of Tennessee Street and Ocala Road
• Challenges – UC2 had to get creative with the site layout to allow the car wash to function correctly with the associated vacuum stations and parking.
• Solutions Provided – We utilized Auto-turn to design the appropriate traffic circulation.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

• Engineering Services Provided – Civil design, site layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, and permitting with the City of Tallahassee and FDOT.

UNIQUE FACTORS FOR THE PROJECT:

• Special Design – Creative site layout
• Environmental Considerations – Redevelopment site
• Size/Scale – 1.0-acre site, 2,500 SF car wash with 22 vacuum stations and associated infrastructure
• Sustainability Aspects/Efforts – Redevelopment project on previous convenience store site
